HCAS motivates and encourages all the students to take active participation in various Intra- and Inter-Collegiate Technical Symposia, Literary, Cultural and Sports activities. This helps to hone and develop their innovative and creative talents.
Renowned industrialists and professionals from leading organizations are invited to present Guest Lectures and preside over Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and Technical Meets, so as to keep students abreast of the latest global technical developments in their respective fields.
International Students form a significant part of HCAS student community. HCAS presents a cosmopolitan atmosphere with students from more than 10 countries, all corners of the world, including Oman and UAE in the Middle East; Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania in Africa; Libya in North Africa; Nepal and Bhutan, the Himalayan States; Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia in the East; Indonesia and the Philippines in the Far East; Sri Lanka and Maldives, island countries in the Indian
Ocean; Beijing, and Weifang in China; and Vietnam on the Pacific Rim.
Technical Meets are held in each department, to provide an opportunity for students to interact with other college students and to develop themselves in their respective subjects of study. National level/state level intercollegiate technical meets provide an effective platform for our students to equip themselves with the current trends.
Educational Tours/Industrial Visits are conducted by the college to create an awareness among our students to how industries work in current trends.
Creativity among students is motivated and is highlighted in our annual magazines, monthly newsletters and technical souvenirs. HCAS also offers the best forum for their innovative ideas, and incorporates best possible means for guiding and motivating the outpour of creative talents. Students are guided to participate in intercollegiate competitions, cultural and other activities to establish their own creative skills.
